Nebraska Film Office Claimed

The Nebraska Film Office now offers a film grant. The Department of Economic Development manages the grant. Feature films are eligible to apply for the Nebraska Film Grant provided that the largest percentage of their principal photography days are in Nebraska.

The feature film must feature a Nebraska story, which could be one or more of the following:
Based on events that took place in Nebraska;
A fictional story that is set in Nebraska;
A film that features characters who live or lived in Nebraska; or
A film that depicts identifiable Nebraska locations in the storyline.
At least 50% of the Worker Days while filming in Nebraska must be comprised of Nebraska residents. Projects are required to spend a minimum of $1,000,000 on qualified expenditures in Nebraska.
DED will match up to 20% of the amount spent on qualified expenditures in Nebraska with a maximum award of $400,000 per film.
