The Placer-Lake Tahoe Film Office is here to expedite your production needs. We welcome all media productions to scout, film, and enjoy our spectacular locations year-round. Our office provides scouting assistance, local contacts, a film directory, a location library, lodging resources, troubleshooting, and best of all, FREE film permits! Let us know what you need, and we’ll do our best to accommodate. 

Placer County boasts stunning locations from the rich farmlands and industrial sites of the valley to the rivers and forests of the foothills, to the sparkling blue lake and ski resorts of the mountains. It’s truly a place for all seasons: spring, summer, fall, and winter, and sometimes all four seasons in one weekend!
